Join Us In The Garden!

Bunbury Fringe is well and TRULY underway, and we have loved the good vibes to be found and good times to be had in our Fringe Garden. And the best thing is - there are still TWO MORE DAYS to head down and enjoy it! Even if you missed out on a ticket, there are free performances and shows happening for everyone to enjoy. Read on!

On Friday 29th of January from 5-7:30pm, you can catch some sundowner beats by New York DJ Law AND music by local lads 4-Bit, whose quirky niche is video game music played in the jazz style (fun!). On Saturday 30th of January - which also happens to be our closing night - you can enjoy a swingin’ Hula workshop by All The Lights at 3-4pm (they’ll also be performing for those with tickets for “The Last Hurrah” later on in the night) and a saucy DJ set by Ginger la Minge from 5-8pm.

But how shall you sustain yourself through hula hooping, boogies on the dance floor and fun with friends, you might ask?! Never fear - Market Eating House and our lush Garden Bar are here! Open from 5pm both nights, you can enjoy a selection of delicious treats from the Market BBQ Stall - think pita’s and bowls with Market’s legendary slow roasted lamb shoulder or falafel, or a fried chicken burger with pickles TO DIE FOR. Pair it with a drink from the bar, where you can find a huge selection of delicious Geographe wine, Froth craft beers, Run-a-Muk cider and Cuprum Distillery cocktails being poured!

You can even smash one of our Market x Bunbury Fringe ice cream sandwich collabs! Choose between the Lucy Peach - blood peach ice cream with a raspberry swirl on a white choc chip cookie - or a SRB Special, named in honour of our closing act The Southern River Band, which features bourbon salted caramel ice cream with a pink plum swirl on a caramel cookie. These are STRICTLY LIMITED TO BUNBURY FRINGE 2021, so you better snack cos they won’t be back!

Last but not least, you can snag your very own Fringe merch this year, featuring artwork by our Garden designer and resident graf artist Giuseppe Rugnetta and printed LIVE by Isaac of Fine Print Studios. You heard that right - once you lay down your $36 for a tee (available in a variety of colours, with a few artworks to choose from), Isaac will print it right there in front of you! Again, these are strictly limited so get in or miss out.

As you can see, even if you missed a ticket to the show you wanted to see, there’s so much fun for everyone in the Garden at Fringe! Come down, bring your friends, bring the kids, and enjoy this sublime summer weather with us in our grassy green, shady, arty garden…
