BOOKS AND BARDS
WEDNESday 6TH February
Gather your funnest friends - the Austen aficionados, the slaves to Shakespeare, the gals who daintily drink their tea (spiked with gin) - and get your bustles down to Fringe for an evening of books and bards!
First, incandescently happy and slightly tipsy, the endearing duo “Sense and Spontaneity” will fulfil all your Mr Darcy fantasies in a performance dedicated to history’s most iconic female authors. Her stories… but your scenarios! Bring your most horrific first date stories stored away, they might come in handy…
Next, we’ll kick of the evening with Perth group “Darling”, who are a veritable girl gang of harmonic sweetness sure to please your ears. Sip your way through their performance with craft cocktails served with whimsy - a cup and saucer, or a teapot perhaps?!
To close, we’ve got a finisher - dashing and handsome, Garry Starr defies his critics by performing every genre of theatre possible. With no regard for personal safety, art, or even his clothes, his show is described as “an anarchic play-date with a six foot two toddler”. Tights and all!
